In the Unity Cosmetics range there are only 2 products that contain propylene glycol: the mascaras and the foundations. No other Unity Cosmetics product uses propylene glycol.
Propylene glycol
Propylene glycol (also called 1,2-propanediol, PG or MPG) is a colourless and odourless ingredient that's found in the smoke plume of a cigarette. It's also present in the artificial smoke used in nightclubs and at festivals to create a "mist". In the cosmetics industry this ingredient is added as a solvent, a moisturising ingredient (because it holds water) or as a preservative. It's an ingredient mainly used in water-based products. On the ingredients list it can also be recognised as 1,2-propanediol, PG or MPG. It's an ingredient to which people generally do not react allergically very quickly.
